Visa Policy

The United States must welcome students, visitors and business travelers in order to remain competitive in a global market. USA*Engage's visa coalition holds meetings with U.S. officials to discuss ways to protect national security while minimizing the red tape and regulations that hinder legitimate travelers who seek to visit the United States. Building on previous studies, and in conjunction with other trade associations, USA*Engage has made a series of recommendations to the U.S. Government on ways to facilitate the issuance of visas and temporary entry procedures. USA*Engage also monitors new visa and immigration proposals in Congress, and supports comprehensive immigration reform that includes enhanced temporary entry provisions.
